Every time I come to Maokong, I always take the aerial tramway or make tea on the mountainside to enjoy the scenery. There are really few opportunities to visit other attractions in Maokong. This time we decided to spend more time visiting Maokong! Strolling in the tea gardens and green trails, while consuming Kalori, you also have a panoramic view of the scenery under Maokong Mountain. The place name "Maokong" sounds very special. When I first heard it, I thought it was a place that was insulated from cats, and the cat was called "kong" when the cat ran out of it! But later it was discovered that this is not the case. The geology of Maokong is uneven in softness and hardness. Under the erosion of river water and gravel over time, many caves have been created in the stream bed, which has become famous in this area.Pothole topography, And the Hokkien pronunciation of Huxue is "ㄋㄧㄠ康", which is translated into Maokong~ Today with our day trip itinerary, let's take a look at the other attractions near Maokong!

Maokong Attractions|Tea Scented Loop Trail
The tea-scented ring trail is an easy outing trail in Maokong, which contains multiple trails, including the small sky trail,The Huxue Trail, the Tea Exhibition Center Trail, and the Health Trail. You can pass the tea garden in the middle, and you can also see the unique pothole terrain. Passing by the Guizhou River, the gurgling water and the singing of insects and birds are good trails for initial understanding of Maokong. !
Maokong Attractions | Huxue Trail
There is a teapot pavilion in Lane 40, Section 3, Guizhou Road. On the side is the entrance of the Huxue Trail. Going inward, there is a fork road. On the left is the small sky trail with steps. On the right, you can walk to the Huxue Suspension Bridge and the pothole terrain. It took us about 15 minutes to walk from the entrance to the Huxue Suspension Bridge. It was shaded by greenery along the way, and it was cool and comfortable to walk, but the closerIn the mountainous area of the Huxue Suspension Bridge, there are more mosquitoes, so please remember to spray mosquito repellent, otherwise you will be bitten all over your body!
Maokong Attractions | Huxue Suspension Bridge
The Huxue Suspension Bridge can be reached from the Tea Exhibition Center Trail, the Little Sky Trail or the Huxue Trail. It looks like a secret place in the forest. It is a scenic spot with a high CP value. It will be there soon! Guide Creek flows slowly under the narrow suspension bridge, which makes it particularly ethereal. Unlike the wooden suspension bridges I have seen in the past, the Huxue Suspension Bridge does not have any planks and looks more primitive. The suspension bridge can only be passed by three people at a time, which makes it feel like a jungle adventure~
Maokong Attractions|Little Sky Trail
After watching the Huxue Suspension Bridge, we took the small sky trail to return to the asphalt road above. The Little Sky Trail is mostly stairs, which is more difficult to walk, but because it is walking on the periphery of the mountain, there are fewer mosquitoes and the trail is more complete. Arriving at the top platform of the Little Sky Trail, there is a sense of vastness as you ascend and look into the distance. Looking back at the stairs you have just walked, the journey is hard, but the scenery is very beautiful. Of course we also took some beautiful photos~
Maokong Attractions|Changshu Trail
Interestingly speaking, Jeffy and Allie were going to take the Zhanghu Trail at the time, butCamphor tree,Zhanghu stupidly can’t distinguish, which leads us toThe Zhangshu Trail has been lingering for a long time, but it is also because of this that more small attractions can be seen. The Zhangshu Trail is a parent-child trail. The overall plan is well planned. The stone steps seem to be maintained with ulterior motives. There are installation art along the road, making the whole journey not boring. The most powerful one here, Lubing flowers bloom in March and April every year, and bunches of yellow flowers dot the green tea trees, attracting many tourists.
Maokong Attractions|Caiyun Pavilion, Mingjing Pond, Buffalo Park
Along the easy-to-walk camphor tree trail, after about 5 minutes walk, you will see a buffalo pulling a cart, here is MaokongBuffalo parkLa~ I'll see it furtherCaiyunting,Mirror pool, There is an installation art of a huge tea bag next to the Caiyun Pavilion. The interesting packaging fully demonstrates the importance of "tea" to Maokong. Maokong has grown from a tea-growing village to a tea-tasting holy place known to all adults. The Mingjing Pool next to the pavilion has a beautiful view, a buffalo soaking in the water to dissipate heat in the distance, and the calm green pond, as if the color saturation has been adjusted to the highest level, it is as beautiful as a painting!
Maokong Attractions|Zhanghu Trail
Compared with the parent-child-level camphor tree trail, the Zhanghu trail is a Jiaoshan route, with more green trails and stone steps on the road, and the difficulty is also higher. The Zhanghu Trail can also walk to Xindian Yinhe Cave, Mailaokeng Mountain, Ejiaoge Mountain, or connect the Zhangshan Temple Trail to Zhengdahou Mountain. It was an early connecting road extending in all directions. If time and physical strength allow, you can also try to challenge it! We walked from the Zhanghu Trail to the Yinhe Cave that day, and the road behind it was slowly descending. There were only some steps at the beginning, which was pretty good. On the road, you can also overlook the scenery of southern Taipei, a beautiful trail.
Maokong Attractions|Yinghedong Waterfall
Unexpectedly, I can walk from Maokong to Yinhe Cave. It turns out that there is only a thin line between Maokong and Xindian! The dreamy name of Yinhe Cave comes from the waterfall descending from the cliff on the mountainside, and the waterfall is shaped like a milky way. Yinhe Cave was discovered in the Japanese Occupation Period and has a history of many years. In recent years, it has become more famous because of IG, and the beautiful Xianqi photos have attracted many people to make pilgrimages.

Maokong Attractions|Blue Cube Landscape Restaurant
The independent red brick and tile city of the world feels a bit like the scene of the Longteng Broken Bridge, with a little red in the green bushes. Green Cube is a restaurant with a view. It offers spaghetti, stewed rice, pancakes, and drinks. It also has outdoor seating. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and forests while dining, and immediately forget your troubles. If you come from Maokong on the Zhanghu Trail, walk for about 20 minutes. It takes only 30 minutes to reach, and the food after climbing the mountain is even more delicious!

Maokong Gourmet|Mountain Beancurd
Douhua on the mountain is located at the entrance of the camphor tree ring trail. After walking for a long time, we were sweating like an oasis in the desert. This bean flower shop has a high score on Google. Of course, we rushed to buy a cup! Tofu can choose two kinds of ingredients, a bowl of 50 yuan. The bean curd is dense and has a coke fragrance. It will not lose its standard because it is located on the mountain. It is very satisfying to eat a bite on a hot day. It is really delicious~

The above is our Maokong one-day tour~ I did not expect that there are so many trails in Maokong, which can lead to many different directions. It seems that there is not enough time in a day, and there are many places I want to go, so I have to keep it and come again next time! In the future, Maokong not only tastes tea and forgets worries, but also has many parent-child trails worth experiencing. While enjoying the scenery, it can also keep fit. It is really a fulfilling day trip with food and activity!
